Food Safety Policy
The Company is committed to enhance the satisfaction of our customers by minimising contamination from all hazards throughout the logistics and Warehousing chain and maintaining an environment conducive to food hygiene.
We intend to achieve the above by complying with the requirements of ISO 22000:2018 Food Safety Management System including HACCP principles, together with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

Health, Safety & Environment Policy
At Logicare Private Limited, our dedication to protecting the environment and ensuring employee health & safety is reflected in a foundation built on several core principles:
• Ensuring compliance with ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System requirements, ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety Management System requirements, as well as environmental, health, and safety laws and regulations and other requirement.

Ajith Fernando
Chairman
Mr. Fernando draws on a 30-year body of multi-faceted experience in Sri Lankan capital markets to steer the group’s overall direction. A long-standing Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK), he holds an MA in Financial Economics from the University of Colombo.
He currently operates as the Managing Director of Capital Alliance Holdings Limited and Ceylon Tea Brokers PLC, while also reserving the position of Chairman in two of the group’s companies. An industry visionary, Mr. Fernando holds key positions in a number of companies both within and external to the CAL Group. Previously, he has worked with some of the leading financial institutions in Sri Lanka.
Saminda Deshapriya
Director / CEO
Mr. Deshapriya is a member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (CILT), UK, Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (CILT), Sri Lanka, the Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM), USA, the Association of Business Executives (ABE), UK, and the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), UK. He is also a working member of the Supply Chain Sub-Committee of UN Global Compact Network (UNGC), Sri Lanka.
He holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the Birmingham City University, UK, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Australian Institute of Business (AIB), Australia.
He has over 15 years of experience in Logistics and Operations. He is also a Non-Executive Director of Ceylon Tea Brokers PLC. He previously served as the Chief Operating Officer of Ceylon Tea Brokers PLC.
Chrisantha Perera
Director
Associated with the Tea Industry for over 50 years, he retired as Chairman/CEO of Forbes & Walker Ltd in 2005 after serving the company for 44 years. He is currently a Director of Ceylon Tea Brokers PLC. He also serves on the Boards of two Plantation Companies and their respective holding companies as well as other public listed and private companies. He is presently an Appointed Member of the Monetary Board of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. He is also a former Chairman of the Sri Lanka Tea Board; Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation Ltd; Public Enterprises Reform Commission and Bank of Ceylon. He previously served as the Chairman of Ceylon Tea Brokers PLC.
Sharmali Perera
Director
An Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK, Mrs. Perera has been with Capital Alliance since its inception in year 2000 and counts over 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry. She is the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer of the Capital Alliance group and is a Director of Ceylon Tea Brokers PLC, Capital Alliance Securities (Pvt) Limited, Capital Alliance Investments Limited, Finnovation (Pvt) Limited and Tempest P E Partners (Pvt) Limited.
Gayani de Alwis
Director
Ms. Gayani de Alwis is a leading Supply Chain Professional. She was the former Director, Customer Service and Management Committee Member of Unilever Sri Lanka Limited responsible for Supply Chain. Ms. de Alwis holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM) of University of Sri Jayewardenepura and a Master of Science in Food Technology and Process Engineering (MSc) from the University of Reading, UK.
Ms. de Alwis is the Past Chairperson of Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), Sri Lanka, Founding Chairperson and Advisor of Women in Logistics and Transport (WiLAT), Sri Lanka and currently the Global Chairperson of WiLAT. She is a Fellow Member of Institute of Supply and Materials Management (ISMM) and Sri Lanka and Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), Sri Lanka. She is a Director of Singer Sri Lanka PLC, Arutha Foundation (Guarantee) Limited and CSR Lanka (Gurantee) Limited. She is also a council member of Open University of Sri Lanka.
Dr. Mihirini De Zoysa
Director
Mihirini is the founder and the current Managing Director of Corporate Druids Private Limited, which is a renowned consultancy firm focusing on training and development in leadership in business organisations. She has over 25 years of experience as a leadership and life coach, trainer, organisational development consultant and workshop facilitator in corporate, government and development sectors. She has a Doctorate (DProf) in Organizational Change from the Hult Ashridge Executive Education and Middlesex University, UK. She also has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics from the University of London, UK and a Master of Science (MSc) in Responsibility and Business Practices from the University of Bath, UK.
She is also a writer and a narrative inquirer. Mihirini has worked in diverse industries, including but not limited to Healthcare, Banking & Insurance, IT, Apparel, Publishing, Telecommunications, Plantations, Hospitality as well as in Non-Governmental Organisations and International Development Organisations such as the United Nations and World Bank.
Waruna De Silva
Director
Mr. De Silva holds a Master of Business Administration from the Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK. He presently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Ceylon Tea Brokers PLC. He has been with Ceylon Tea brokers since 2008 and was appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of the company in 2016. He commenced his career at Forbes & Walker Limited and prior to joining Ceylon Tea Brokers, he functioned in the capacity of a Tea Manager at Forbes & Walker Limited.
Mr. De Silva is the Chief Executive Officer of Ceylon Tea Brokers PLC. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK. He also holds Executive MSc’s in Supply Chain Management, Human Resource Management and Project Management from Asia E-University Malaysia. He is a passed finalist of CMA Australia. He completed executive education on Strategy and Leadership from Wharton Business School Philadelphia (USA) and holds the ADP Certificate. Completed Executive education on Strategy & Enterprisewisde Transformation from Rice University Texas (USA) & MIT Sloan School of Management, Boston (USA). He is currently a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) candidate at University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka.
